Recycling for Horses
Please Help us Raise Money for the Sanctuary Horses of Misfit Acres
WOULD YOU HELP A HORSE IN SANCTUARY
CARE???
Millions of these items end up in our
landfill every year exposing our environment to harmful chemicals.
Rather than throwing them away or putting that old cell phone in the
closet, please consider donating them to the sanctuary horses of Misfit
Acres.
These items are re-sold to various
recyclers with all proceeds going to the sanctuary horses.
Inkjet Cartridges
By collecting empty OEM (original
manufacturer) inkjet cartridges, you can help provide funding for the
sanctuary horses. Our recycler will supply you with postage paid bags
to send in your empty cartridges on behalf of Misfit Acres. We are able
to do some local pick-ups as well.
Laser Cartridges
Our recycler will supply you with
prepaid shipping boxes to send in your empty laser cartridges. We are
able to do some local pick-ups as well.
Cell Phones
Cell phones can be dropped off or
mailed to Misfit Acres - 12480 550th Ave Amboy, MN 56010.
Phones need not be in working order but the recycler would like to have
the batteries. No attachments are needed. We cannot recycle bag phones.
We are able to do some local pick-ups as well.
Aluminum Cans
Aluminum cans can be dropped off at
Misfit Acres. We are able to do some local pick-ups as well.
20 oz Pop Bottles
Our recycler will ship prepaid
collection boxes to you on behalf of Misfit Acres. Go to
www.terracycle.net and
sign up under the Bottle Brigade. This recycler can only ship to a
business address rather than a residential address due to shipping
costs. The bottles are refilled with organic fertilizer made of
liquefied worm poop and sold in retail stores. Pop/Soda bottles only
please – no water, juice, milk, etc as these are made of a different
plastic. Please do not crush bottles. We are able to do some local
pick-ups as well.
