On October 12, 2008, we first met Shadow as she jumped out of the trailer at Misfit Acres. She was 24 years old at the time.  She has the most unique "shading" around her eyes and is a quiet pony except when she sees a feed bucket.    Diagnosed with Cushings’ disease and hypothyroid Shadow requires medications daily.  Due to the Cushings’, she grows incredibly long, thick hair in the winter.
