Badly in need of weight, shots, dental care, and hoof care on arrival, she became the picture of health. Trixie was a very well trained horse with excellent manners. Trixie loved treats - but not at meal times. In recent months, she was displaying occasional changes which greatly concerned us. The night she collapsed and totally gave up, she was euthanized in our arms. She was 22 years old. |
