On July 25, 2007, Abbey arrived at Misfit Acres. At 30 years old, she looked tough! We had our doubts at first if she could be brought back to a healthy weight. She must have really wanted to feel better though because look at her now! When her friend Tara left to go to another rescue, Abbey became "Crabby Abbey". Another change for her was her first days in the pasture - then she was "Happy Abbey". When Dixie arrived to join Peanut and Abbey in the pasture, this little white Arab became "Grandma Abbey". |
